Meet Ruth

Ruth Painter is a self-taught artist who finds inspiration in nature's quiet moments — the way light plays through leaves, the warmth of a summer breeze, the magic hidden in everyday scenes.

Working primarily in watercolor and mixed media, Ruth creates whimsical pieces that invite viewers into a world of wonder. Her art has been described as "a warm hug in paint form."

When she's not painting, Ruth teaches art classes, tends her garden, and dreams up new ways to bring color into the world. She believes everyone has an artist inside them — sometimes they just need a little encouragement to let it out.
